Tom Garstang
About
Tom Garstang is a hunter, conservationist, farmer, and survivalist based in the Piedmont region of central Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains who recently appeared on Season 9 of the History Channel's survival challenge "Alone."

Originally born in South Africa his father Richard Garstang was a game ranger in the Kruger National Park and later a Conservation Biologist for the World Wildlife Fund and this became Toms foundation for a life’s work in the great outdoors. Through his fathers field work Tom was given the opportunity to spend time with and observe a wide variety of indigenous people and the ways in which they lived off the land from nomadic goat herders in the Karakoram mountains of Pakistans Kashmir region to Kenyas Wakamba and Maasai cattlemen, and the world renowned San Bushmen trackers of the Kalahari desert.

After immigrating to the United States Tom befriended the Powers family of Buckingham Virginia, a fifth generation clan of trappers and hunters who would open the door to the woodsmanship and hunting culture of the Appalachian range. Garstang builds off of all of these formative relationships and his own creativity to bring a unique and adaptable approach to hunting, conservation, and wilderness survival.

Holly Carnagey
About
Holly Carnagey is a licensed Massage Therapist in Cullman Alabama. She is a wellness professional who is providing alternative treatment through
homeopathics, herbs, essential oils, massage and nutrition. She is certified in one of the most beneficial massage techniques, known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage. MLD, cleanses the blood and therefore allows the body to help itself, by enhancing the immune response and reducing inflammation. She is a Synergetic Structural Integrator, which means she has the ability to place the body, step by step, back into proper muscular alignment, through the
manipulation of the fascia. Holly is fascinated with the fascia and is
incorporating other forms of fascia work into her profession. Trained in the art of fire cupping she can help clients thrive on the energy and wellness this thousand year old modality provides. She loves to learn new techniques. Holly's theory goes along with the old saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.

The wellness journey started in Telluride, Colorado where a dear friend introduced her to homeopathic medicine and herbs. Holly had never
experienced any medical treatment outside of pharmaceutical drugs and MD.'s. This type of holistic medicine changed the quality of life for her and her family forever.

Holly returned to Alabama after a few pit stops in Louisiana and New Mexico. Here in Alabama there is a storehouse of knowledge at Wallace State
Community College and Holly took advantage of this opportunity by enrolling in Cosmetology, where she obtained a degree in Salon and Spa Management.

Now licensed in Cosmetology and Esthetics, she desired to know more. She was searching for knowledge about the entire body and how to help her family and community. She discovered that the body, mind and spirit could be affected through touch. So, Holly went to Therapeutic Massage at Wallace State and is passionate about aiding her clients on their wellness journey.

When she's not learning more about wellness, she's playing pickle ball with her husband Sean. Holly is the wife of Sean Carnagey and together they have 8 daughters and 4 sons. So, she knows a little about taking care of people. A devoted wife, mother, caregiver, therapist, and friend that is who Holly Carnagey is. Please visit Holly anytime at Restore Health & Wellness.
